At the Volcanic Engine Force Conference, Vice President Hong Dingkun of Byte-Bump Technology announced that China ‘ s first AI-driven smart development environment, launched by By-Bounce, had exceeded 1 million active users for the month and helped developers generate more than 6 billion lines of code.

TRAE was officially launched in January 2024 by Bytes, and is located in the country’s first AI IDE designed for Chinese-language developers with the goal of “making everyone a developer” and, through AI, lowering programming thresholds to compete with global AI IDE (e.g. GitHub Copilot). TRAE supports the Visual Studio Code technical architecture, based on the byte self-study of the Bean Pack megamodel. Smart code completion, local code generation and natural language programming functions provide efficient AI programming services for domestic developers.

The bean bag 1.6 model, which combines bytes, allows for the prediction of codes based on context, enhances the efficiency of preparation and supports the generation of code clips in natural languages. Introduction of the Cue feature in the latest version of V1.4.2 to support batch modification and transplant to the next editorial point, with a 30 per cent efficiency increase. It also covers the main languages of Python, Java, C++ and supports the grammar practices of Chinese developers.
TRAEThe Cue function in version v1.4.2 allows for more precision in renewal and saves time and effort by bulk modification of the code.” TRAE has also integrated hundreds of Feedance Pro tools to support team collaboration and code review to meet business development needs.

In 2024, the size of Chinese developers ‘ communities reached 20 million, and the penetration of AI-assisted programming tools increased from 10 to 25 per cent. TRAE attracted SMEs and independent developers in a free model and localization advantage, with 60 per cent of active monthly users being SMEs and 30 per cent individual developers. The byte beat is planned to invest $12 billion in AI infrastructure in 2025, and TRAE, as its AI ecological core, is expected to drive a 20 per cent increase in the productivity of Chinese developers.
