TikTok recently launched a series of new tools for TikTok Shop creators to help optimize account operation, improve compliance and prepare for the upcoming shopping season (e.g. double 11). These updates were officially launched at the beginning of September 2025 and are aimed at small and medium-sized creators, especially new creators with a number of fans between 1,000 and 5,000, with a view to reducing the risk of non-compliance through more humanized guidance and prevention mechanisms and promoting the efficiency of content creation and realization.

A 30-day “Transition of Tolerance” for new creators of fans from 1000 to 5,000. At this stage, the Platform will ease some of the implementation of the rules (e.g., by not immediately deducting points for minor violations) and help creators to become familiar with TikTok Shop ‘ s policies, product promotion norms and content requirements. At the same time, the system sends individualized tutorials and reminders to avoid newers being miscalculated because they are unfamiliar.
If the account number is warned or restricted for irregularities (e.g. false propaganda or low-quality content), the creator can “renew the perception” through this interactive test. The tests included multiple selections and case analysis, covering TikTok Shop ‘ s electrical rules (e.g., authenticity of products, avoidance of misleading descriptions). Upon completion of the tests, the account status can be restored quickly, even with temporary traffic.
The author ‘ s health rating is a comprehensive health index of 0-100 points, which assesses the overall compliance of accounts, including original content, the quality of interactions and history of irregularities. When the score is low, the specific cause of the deduction is shown (e.g. “over-extroduced”) and it is suggested that the path be overhauled. Promotion of performance ratings: Focus on electrician performance, tracking video conversion rates, hits and return feedback. High scores can unlock more recommended positions and new creators.

When video or account numbers are marked as non-compliance, the system automatically intercepts non-compliance clips (e.g. sensitive words or low-quality frames) and produces a time-stamped “scan report”. This allows creators to look directly at the problem (e.g. “promoting non-products here”) rather than vague warnings, and allows for targeted modifications. More intuitive than previously described, reducing the length of appeals. Sniper support is shared for teamwork.
With the help of an entirely new video pre-trial tool, the creator automatically scans potential violations of AI before uploading the video, including non-original content (copying tests), unconnected promotion (e.g. electrician video issues), static frames (low effort content) or copyright issues. Scan results provide instant feedback and suggest editing (e.g. “add watermarks” or “adapted description”) to help creators avoid post-publication fines or downsights.

These tools reflect TikTok’s investment in the economy of creators – the Platform hopes to attract more small and medium-sized creators to the TikTok Shop ecology by lowering the threshold and increasing transparency. These functions are now available in some global markets (e.g., the United States, the United Kingdom and South-East Asia).
